What each model costs in credits
You're only charged for successful generations, and the price of a model does not change with resolution — a 4K run costs exactly what a 1K draft costs.

What a generation costs
One thing decides the number you see before you press generate: which model you picked. Resolution does not move it, and a job that fails is never charged.
The model you pick
GPT Image 2 for prompt accuracy, Nano Banana 2 for edits, Seedream and Qwen for speed. The picker shows each price before you commit.
Failed jobs are free
If a generation errors out, the credits go back. You are never billed for something you did not receive.

Pricing questions
Common questions about credits and model costs.
It depends on the model, and the number is shown before you press generate. Resolution does not change it: GPT Image 2 is 50 credits whether you output 1K or 4K, and the cheapest model on the site is 4 credits at any size. On Pro and Max there is no credit cost at all.
Seedream 5 Lite and Nano Banana 2 Lite are the light tiers — fast, and priced at the bottom of the ladder. Move to GPT Image 2 once the prompt is doing what you want.
4K is included on every paid plan, and it draws no more credits than 1K: a model bills one flat rate whatever size you ask for — GPT Image 2 is 50 credits at either. There is no separate 4K upgrade to buy.
The credits go back. A job that errors out is never charged, so a failed run costs you nothing but the wait.
Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Credit-pack credits never expire, and plan credits are always spent first so your pack balance lasts as long as possible.
