What each model costs in credits
You're only charged for successful generations. The exact estimate in the generator varies by model, length, resolution, audio, and number of images.

Failed jobs are free
If a generation errors out, the credits go back. You are never billed for something you did not receive.

Common questions about credits and model costs.
It depends on resolution, and the number is shown before you press generate: about 20 credits at 1K, 40 at 2K, and 80 at 4K. Draft at 1K and re-run the one you like at 4K — that is the cheapest way to work.
Seedream 5 Lite and Nano Banana 2 Lite are the light tiers — fast, and priced at the bottom of the ladder. Move to GPT Image 2 once the prompt is doing what you want.
4K is included on every paid plan; it simply draws more credits per image (about 80). There is no separate 4K upgrade to buy.
The credits go back. A job that errors out is never charged, so a failed run costs you nothing but the wait.
Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Credit-pack credits never expire, and plan credits are always spent first so your pack balance lasts as long as possible.
